The Israeli Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure stated in a latest statement that Israel plans to incorporate an additional 2 GW of renewable energy generation into the national grid.
The government of the country stated that the main reason for the suspension of grid connection of newly built renewable energy power plants is grid congestion, and after recalculating some power plants,it was found that there is still room for power distribution.
The Israeli Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure,in collaboration with the Israel Electricity Authority,Israel Electric Power Company, and National Grid Management Company Noga, completed the recalculation. The department stated that the new factory will be smoothly integrated into the power grid in the”coming weeks”,especially in southern and northern Israel.
The government has allocated 17 billion Israeli New Sikh(4.4 billion US dollars)to solve the congestion problem of the national power grid.Noga is leading a project aimed at integrating additional renewable energy production plans and energy storage facilities into the grid by 2030.
