The reporter learned from China Railway Group that in November,China Railway sent 178 million tons of coal,a year-on-year increase of 3.2%.Among them,130 million tons of electric coal effectively meet the demand for coal for winter power generation and heating.
Since the beginning of winter,temperatures in various regions have significantly decreased,and the demand for coal for power generation and heating has increased.China Railway Group fully leverages the role of major freight channels such as the Daqin,Tangbao,Wari,Haoji,and Lanxin railways,coordinates the use of resources such as lines,locomotives,vehicles,and freight yards,increases the supply of coal transportation capacity,and enhances the transportation capacity of coal from the north to the south,from the west to the east,and from Xinjiang.
In Inner Mongolia,in response to the continuous cold wave,the Xinshuo Railway has formulated an emergency plan for extreme weather in advance to maintain smooth and orderly transportation organization.The coal transportation volume has increased by more than 14 million tons compared to the same period in 2022,providing strong support for ensuring the supply of electric coal.
In November,the national railway loaded an average of 85000 coal vehicles per day,a year-on-year increase of 2.3%.As of the end of November,the inventory of 371 direct power supply plants along the road was 86.27 million tons,a year-on-year increase of 15.2%.
