Since the proposal of the”dual carbon”target in 2020,China has made significant progress in the fields of energy transformation and low-carbon development.As 2025 marks the end of the 14th Five Year Plan,the phase of energy consumption dual control is about to be completed,and the comprehensive transformation towards carbon emission dual control has become a core issue.
In this year’s government work report,it is proposed to accelerate the construction of a dual control system for carbon emissions,expand the industry coverage of the national carbon emission trading market,carry out carbon emission statistics and accounting,establish a product carbon footprint management system and carbon labeling certification system,and actively respond to green trade barriers.
The deployment of”dual carbon”work brings new opportunities and challenges to the industry and enterprises.Traditional high energy consuming industries are facing pressure from capacity structure adjustment and technological innovation,and need to accelerate their transformation pace;The emerging low-carbon industries are facing policy winds and have broad opportunities for market expansion,technological innovation,and other aspects,which are expected to become new engines of economic growth.

Hu Zhonghui,a deputy to the National People’s Congress and deputy secretary of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of the machinery manufacturing business department of Henan Pinggao Electric Co.,Ltd.,told reporters that the company actively implements the national”double carbon”goal,serves the green construction of the power grid,deepens the research on environmental protection equipment,is committed to reducing the use of sulfur hexafluoride gas,and has successfully developed series of vacuum,mixed gas,pure nitrogen and other green and environmental protection power equipment in the field of high-voltage and distribution networks to achieve technological leadership.During the 15th Five Year Plan period,research and development will be carried out on a series of vacuum environmental protection and alternative gas switches with higher voltage levels,forming a complete series of environmental protection products,maintaining a leading position in the field of environmental protection switches,and meeting the urgent demand for environmental protection switches in domestic and foreign markets.
