China’s largest offshore oil field sets new record for daily crude oil production

According to CNOOC Tianjin Branch,the daily crude oil production of Bohai Oilfield,the largest offshore oil field in China,has exceeded 100000 tons,setting a record high in the history of oilfield development and construction in nearly 60 years.

The Bohai Oilfield was founded in 1965 and has now built over 50 oil and gas fields and more than 200 production facilities,with a cumulative oil and gas equivalent of over 500 million tons.

The innovative exploration theory of Bohai Oilfield has continuously discovered six billion ton oil and gas fields,including Bozhong 19-6 and Kenli 10-2,within five years,laying the foundation for the stable growth of oil and gas production in Bohai,China.In 2023,the crude oil increment of Bohai Oilfield will be nearly 2.3 million tons,accounting for about 50%of the total national crude oil increment.
